Hot and Spicy Sauces

We call our 4oz bottles “Iba-loo-la-key-lay”, which in Zulu means “The Special One”.

Malawi Gold

With a base of sweet potato, this product has a wonderfully subtle coloring and flavor. Delicate and tasty.

Swazi Mamma Mamba

This beautiful creamy, green sauce gets it’s texture and flavor from a shrewd combination of cilantro, Jalapeno chilies, herbs and spices.

Peri-Peri Mombasa

A traditional East African sauce that derives it’s unique flavor from the famous African Peri-Peri chili complimented with herbs and spice.

Zulu Fire Sauce

This hot sauce from the famous Zulu tribe in South Africa gets it’s wonderful color and flavor from a combination of carrots, sweet potato, chili peppers, spices and herbs. The favorite.

Hot Rocks

For two-thousand years the camel caravans have navigated north from the fabled city of Timbuktu in search of the gold in the Sahara desert-salt. It seemed only fitting for me to blend the spicy peppers of Africa with this prized commodity to honor and convey to all, the mysterious Tastes of Africa.

Grind Hot Rocks over anything, breakfast, lunch dinner, use it instead of table salt, just ALWAYS have it on the table.

Spices

Zulu Fire Spice

A fiery blend of chillies, piquantes, sweet peppers, black peppers and ginseng.

Moroccan Harissa Spice

Khoisan Seaweed Salt

A blend of hand harvested (Cape West Coast) untreated natural sea salt, nori and sea lettuce (seaweeds), mixed seasonal herbs (leaves and flowers) and spices.
